Access the Ning Site http://vitaeproject.ning.com
Click on Sign up link to join the Community Space

Create your Ning Profile (name + email are mandatory fields)
Tip: Pictures are important in Social Networking - it gives a personal touch

Your request to join the Ning site is sent to the
administrator for approval
Once it has been approved you can start browsing through the site

Join a group of
interest inside Ning

Once your membership has been approved you can:
•Visit the different spaces inside the site;
•Create and Join groups (by clicking on the link below each group’s image);
•Visit other members’ personal pages;
•Add video, photos, and events;
•Write blog posts
•Edit your personal page

Joining a group...
• Log-in to Ning
• Click on the group you want to join
• A Page with the group Space will open
• Click on ‘ join the xxx Group’ (so you are able to contribute to the
discussion forum and write on the group’s wall)

Take part in the discussion...
You can contribute to
ongoing discussions
either by:
• clicking on the discussion
thread links, and submit
your comments, or
•by creating a new
discussion thread (click on
‘start discussion’ and
create title for new thread)

To post in a Ning discussion:
•Click on the title of the discussion you want to take part in;
•A new window will open with a text box below the
discussion thread you want to contribute to
•Add you comments and click ‘add reply’ to publish your
text.
