How join a session in Elluminate

Testing in the SandBox

before the day of the conference @

Click on the Sandbox Meeting Space Link (highlighted in blue)

A new window appears Type your name * - leave password field in blank (highlighted in green) * Please do not use any special characters. Type your name with only simple characters. E.g.: instead of Jo ã o Ca ç ador type Jo a o Ca c ador ; or instead of G ü nter type G ue nter

A new window is displayed If the download doesn’t start automatically click on the link above. (highlighted in pink) (highlighted in pink) (highlighted in pink)

Once you click on the link, the download will start and a box saying ‘java starting’ will appear on your screen.

A small box will appear on the screen Click OK to download the application (highlighted in pink) (highlighted in pink) (highlighted in pink)

The download will start. Please let it run. If you get a message from your computer asking to trust the application, click ‘yes’ (or trust) the application, click ‘yes’ (or trust)

Once the download has finished, the Elluminate room will automatically be launched

The elluminate room will open and you will be asked to choose your connection. You will probably be LAN or ADSL (if you aren’t sure, just choose one of those) and click OK click OK

Finally check your sound and microphone are working properly. Go to Tools >> Audio >> Audio Setup Wizard, and let the application run and let the application run and let the application run

On the days of the conference Go through the same procedure. Instead of clicking on the SandBox, use the link provided to the session you want to attend.
