  • condition the metodologic changes \ntell the story why I started using technology \n
  • 3 things to consider when deciding on what to learn...\ntell the story of how I work with educators\nwhat questions I ask them to understand how we can innovate their teaching plan \n\nhow - the process is more important than the what in that the what will be shaped by answering the how we learn what we want to learn ... \n\nbut most important even is who are we going to help LEARN! \n
  • how - the process is more important than the what in that the what will be shaped by answering the how we learn what we want to learn ... \n\nbut most important even is who are we going to help LEARN! \n
  • but most important even is WHO are we going to help LEARN! \n
  • meet their reality\nconnect with their practice \nfeel the vibe - what drives their engagement \nwhat captures their attention \nhow connected in our ‘schooling system’ to indivudual’s realities?\nHow can we get closer?\n
  • location is no longer important. \n\n
  • use the yellow post it to write where you think your students are easily engaged - where would you find them more often:\nin the coffee shop, in the library, in the cybercafe, on the phone, etc \n
  • \n
  • from the school walls into the world \n

  • for learning ...and teaching \n
  • for participation: active engagement\n\n\n
  • for the presentation and representation of the individual: ownership and identity\n
  • autonomy\nchoice\n
  • emancipation \n

  • that encourage \n
  • exploration of new paths \n
  • fostering autonomy \n
  • \n
  • believing - teacher is the courterback of the game - pushing the learner to achieve and set himself/herself goals he/she never thought they they could \n
  • developing personal meaning \n
  • boots motivation \nappeals to new initiatives \n
  • the glue of the learning \n
  • delegation - entrusting and investing on the learner \nThat’s the glue of the glue\n
  • development of rubrics that cover the process \nvalue engagement \nencourage participation in learning \n\nassessment that fits new learning \n\n
