  • 2. Restaurant It is the establishment or trade in which is offered a food service with a lot of varieties. The guest could drink a cocktail or if he wants to eat a dish could do that. It had a different kind of restaurants and I’m going to describe one for one. The kind of restaurants depends about the food.
  • 3. Fast food The main characteristic is the speed service and the low cost than the another establishment.  The build need a small place.  The food sold had a precooked or preheated ingredients.  It served to the costumer in a packaged form for take out or take away.  It brings food via drive-trough. 
  • 4. Types of food served Fried food.  Pizza.  Hamburgers.  Tacos.  Doughnuts.  Snacks.  Desserts. 
  • 5. Patron treatment Brings a fast service.  You need pay first and order with the cashier.  You get the food quickly. 
  • 6. Example Mc donalds.  Burger king.  Dominos pizza.  Little Caesar pizza. 
  • 7. Casual restaurant The cost of the dishes is medium.  It had a casual environment.  It brings a table service.  The cutlery is made with silver.  The food had a nice presentation. 
  • 8. Types of food Regional food.  Sea food.  Appetizers.  Desserts.  Main dish with a wine to match.  Salads. 
  • 9. Patron treatment Casual dining restaurants often have a full bar with separate bar staff a larger beer menu and a limited wine menu.  The waiter takes the costumer’s order.  The service it’s more low than the food service. 
  • 10. Example La casa de los abuelos  Casa Rolandi.  Lorenzillos. 
  • 11. Coffee house Her principal product is the coffee and other kinds of beverages.  Without table service.  Only needs a small place.  Offer a limited selection of cold foods. 
  • 12. Type of food Coffee  Te  Desserts.  Cold foods.  Pastries  Sandwiches 
  • 13. Patron treatment  they allows patron to relax and socialize on their premises for long periods of time without pressure to leave after eating.
  • 14. Example Starbucks.  Café andrade.  Manyé. 
  • 15. Fast casual dinning restaurant Not table service.  Food with higher quality.  Average prices.  Non dispensable the cutlery ands plates. 
  • 16. Type of food Fast food.  Fried food.  Salads.  Desserts.  Appetizers. 
  • 17. Patron treatment  More of the food is prepared at the restaurant than is the case at fast food chains. The quality of food and prices tend to be higher than those of a conventional fast food restaurant but may be lower than casual dining.

  • 19. Ethnic restaurant Offers different nationality food.  Have a thematic concept.  Have a high price.  Bring a table service.  Fine cutlery. 
  • 20. Type of food Multicultural food  Italian food.  Chinese food.  Mexican food.  Spanish food. 
  • 21. Patron treatment  This establishment have waiters and he takes the order.

  • 23. Cafeteria Cheap price.  Prepared food.  Sometimes many cafeterias brings the table service.  Fast service. 
  • 24. Type of food Pastries  Snacks  Coffee  Chocolate  Hamburgers  Desserts 
  • 25. Patron treatment Cafeterias are common in hospitals, corporations and educational institutions.  Depending on the establishment, servings may be ordered from attendants, selected as ready-made portions already on plates, or self-serve their own portions. 

  • 27. Pub Serves simple food fare.  High prices.  A big variety of beers and wines.  Public house. 
  • 28. Type of food Simple dishes.  Traditional drinks.  Snacks. 
  • 29. Patron treatment The establishment have waiters.  There is a bar and the costumers can order beers. 
  • 30. Example Irish pub  British pub. 
  • 31. Bistros and brassiere Served moderately priced hearty meals.  High price.  Imported products from Europeans countries.  Refined décor.  Fewer tables.  Have a long menu. 
  • 32. Types of food A variety kind of cheeses.  Desserts.  Appetizers.  Beers.  Sodas.  Wines.  Cold cuts. 
  • 33. Patron treatment Offer a comfortable environment.  Have waiters to take order. 
  • 34. Example Limoncello.  Tinto.  Cenacolo. 
  • 35. Importance of having different type of restaurants The importance to have a lot of varieties of restaurants is to offer a different kind of food, because not all the people have the same likes if we choose a type of restaurant we need emphasize in one, we won’t start our business if we don’t have an idea to offer food.
