  • 1. HOW CELLS EXPORT AND EMBED PROTEINS IN THE MEMBRANE …AND… SCIENTIST VIEW GENOME AS IT TURNS ON AND OFF INSIDE CELLS   ANA CRISTINA ALVARADO VELASQUEZ MEDICINE STUDENT
  • 2.
  • 3.
  • 4. INTRODUCTION
  • 5. SCIENTIST VIEW GENOME AS IT TURNS ON AND OFF INSIDE CELLS 1
    • Today, scientific advances enable to  see the transformation of DNA into RNA.
  • 6. SCIENTIST VIEW GENOME AS IT TURNS ON AND OFF INSIDE CELLS 2
    • Doctors johnathan s. werssman and L. stirlyng churchnman supported the study of RNA.
  • 7. SCIENTIST VIEW GENOME AS IT TURNS ON AND OFF INSIDE CELLS 3
    • Histones, nucleosomes are wrapped in key structures for the genome.
  • 8. SCIENTIST VIEW GENOME AS IT TURNS ON AND OFF INSIDE CELLS 4
    • The enzyme polymerase, histones and the nucleosomes are very important for the study of DNA transcription.
  • 9. PERSONAL OPINION
    • This new approach gives researchers an insight into the process in action, as well as know ledge on general trends in the activation or deactivation of the genome.
  • 10. HOW CELL EXPORT SND EMBED PROTEINS IN THE MEMBRANE 1
    • The disorders in proteins may be a cause for diseases like Parkinson's.
  • 11. HOW CELL EXPORT SND EMBED PROTEINS IN THE MEMBRANE 2
    • A factor of protein transport through the membrane is SRP (signal
    •   recognition particle)
  • 12. HOW CELL EXPORT SND EMBED PROTEINS IN THE MEMBRANE 3
    • A ribosome-protein complex is a factor in protein transport.
  • 13. HOW CELL EXPORT SND EMBED PROTEINS IN THE MEMBRANE 4
    • Cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-electronics) is a technique for imaging in the transport of proteins across the membrane
  • 14. PERSONAL OPINION
    • It is interesting to know that there are methods of microscopy which enable to do studies in living cells.
  • 15. MEDICAL UTILITY 1
    • It is unlikely to know a result of an experiment because they are hypotheses
  • 16. MEDICAL UTILITY 2
    • Genetics are not experienced in humans because the outcome is
    • uncertain.
  • 17. MEDICAL UTILITY 3
    • The proteins are important structures and essential in the
    • development of an organism
  • 18. MEDICAL UTILITY 4
    • The study of genetics may be an option for the
    • treatment of some diseases
