  • No matter whether it is private cloud, a managed or hosted cloud, or someone else’s third party delivered cloud, an organization must have an effective service management strategy to deploy an optimized cloud-delivered service. The service management implementation must be able to manage the workflow, provisioning, de-provisioning, monitoring and metering of the environment to ensure performance, stability, resiliency, reliability, security and end user satisfaction.
  • Provisioning and automation Storage system optimization Scalability and upgradabilit Integrated hardware management
  • IBM PureFlex Systems supports all current AIX, IBM i, Linux and Windows applications. To help clients accelerate their time-to-value, the IBM PureFlex Systems are available in preconfigured Express, Standard and Enterprise foundations. Pricing will vary by configuration, but typically start around $100K – SPEAKER should take pricing discussion offline. High price variability depending on particular configuration.
  • 1. Some mgmt tasks formerly performed by admins (i.e provisioning workloads) are now done by end users 2. The top two roles are valid even when the lower two (infrastructure) are outsourced to a cloud SP 3. Sometimes these roles are combined 4. We provide mgmt offerings for each category of user 5. We need to coexist when clients cover some roles with third-party tools (e.g. vCenter)
