    • 30 minutes Group size to 90 from minutes 10 to 5,000Team Singing Events: One VoiceEveryone can sing, and One Voice is the team event that proves it. The human voice is the oldestinstrument known to man and the most personal signature we have. For the last five years, CreativeTeam Events has been using singing as a team building activity, corporate entertainment event andconference energiser. Our singing events are incredibly powerful as a team experience. Why choose singing as a team activity? Our singing workshops are a perfect team building activity, because all the right components arethere: • Singing is something that everyone can do, even though participants may not think they can at the very beginning! • Singing together initially creates apprehension, with people outside of their ‘comfort zone’. • Teams become increasingly confident together. • The activity is great fun. • There is a fantastic team ‘pay off’ when everyone performs together in the finale. Our One Voice event builds on the popularity of TV shows such as X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent andThe Choir. Here is the opportunity to show what your team can do.No props or equipment are required, and yet the human voice has the power to provoke humanemotion. The human voice is the oldest instrument known to man and the most personal signaturewe have.Very little set up is required, and everything can be done in one room if breakout rooms are notavailable. So, there is minimal disruption to the rest of your agenda. Our team singing activity is designed to give your team an experience that might at first be outsidethe comfort zone of participants but will enable them to gain confidence in their abilities and allowthem to dramatically surpass their perceived limits. This often has a profound emotional impact onparticipants. We use only world-class professional vocal coaches. They are selected because of the many skills theypossess to make each event relaxed, entertaining, fun and a complete success. All our coaches havemany years of experience performing, coaching and directing in the West End, on TV or on tour.
    • Head Vocal Coach, Nathan Taylor says, “Singing is such a joy, and singing as part of a large group isextremely rewarding. To be part of such a large outpouring of joy is an infectious experience, andone that always lifts my spirits, as well as everyone else’s. Particularly when you combine that innatepleasure with the sense of triumph that accompanies the knowledge that one has overcome anobstacle, it’s a winning experience for all. I love what I do!”What happens in our team singing session? Our vocal group enters the room and, much to the surprise of everyone, performs a song. There is aneven bigger surprise when it is announced that everyone in the room is going to sing the same song,in harmony. This comes as quite a shock to a room full of people sitting comfortably in theirmeeting or conference. In no time at all, our enigmatic vocal coaches split the group into three and go through a short vocal warm-up to blow the dust off those under-used vocal chords. This is not only a good icebreaker, but starts each group with small successes and lays the foundations for the subsequent stages. Lyric sheets are handed out and each group begins to practise and perfect their melody or harmony to the chosen popular song. We have a list of tried and tested songs that are perfect for this event, but we are always open to your own ideas if they are suitable.Once we have added a little stage direction and glamour to your vocal section, we bring togethereach group and layer their respective parts to create the ultimate working harmony. You are ready to perform as ‘One Voice’ and you will be stunned how good you sound. With many araised eyebrow and well deserved pat on the back, you continue with your day having proved thepoint that there is no such thing as “I can’t”.What do I need in terms of time and space? One Voice is a highly flexible event that can be modified according to the time available and thenature of your venue. If you opt for the condensed version in one room, we would suggest an event time of 45minutes upto 90 minutes. There are no real space requirements other than the need for participants to be able to stand and‘sing their hearts out’. Like all our events, however, the more space there is available, the better wecan use it.
    • In the normal breakout version, after the initial briefing all together, we split the group into equalthirds if possible (but that is not essential). The breakout rooms we go to need mains power for akeyboard and enough space for participants to stand and see (and hear) their vocal coach. The breakout version needs a minimum duration of an hour, and could last two hours with acomfort break included.Where can I hold a team singing event?A One Voice activity can be held almost anywhere in the world. In the one room format, an event could be held in any meeting or conference situation. If there isenough room to sit and stand (even around tables), then that is all the space you need.In the breakout option format, you do need at least one other room, area or space for your breakoutgroup to use.Noise issues within a venue are very rare. It is, however, always advisable to let your venue know ifyou are planning any kind of musical activity. How many people can be in a group? One Voice is a highly flexible event, which can be modified according to the size of group. The group size for this activity is virtually limitless. Thats what makes it such a great option forlarge groups. The spectacle of the final performance of a large group is stunning. One thing to remember is that very large groups (300+) take more time to split up and move aroundif using the breakout format. The smallest group size we would recommend is about 15 participants. If the breakout group issmaller than five, some individuals may feel somewhat ‘exposed’.Which occasions are best suited to One Voice? One Voice works brilliantly as an icebreaker, energiser or finale within your corporate event. Weoften provide this activity pre- or post-dinner. Around mealtimes, One Voice is highly entertainingand really adds weight to the term, "singing for your supper".Our One Voice singing activity is perfect if you want to demonstrate to your group the power ofworking together, pushing through a challenge or releasing hidden potential.
    • As so many business messages and valuable business and leadership metaphors are contained withinthe event, One Voice is a perfect complement to business meetings and conferences.By taking people out of their normal comfort zone, One Voice can help teams adapt to change andovercome fears.Other informationIf you want to make that final performance extra-special, we can provide many added options, including: • costumes • live band accompaniment • concert lighting • surprise audience.
