  • PAM: Welcome to Teaching with Web 2.0: No Financial Limits! My name is Pam Cranford and presenting with me today are Jennifer Saccoccio and Nina Peery. For the next three hours, we will be sharing some of our favorite Web 2.0 tools and working with you to establish some of your own. \n
  • PAM: Budget cuts will most likely dip into the piggy bank of our technology funds, but by taking advantage of Web 2.0, our students can still received a rich education with No Financial Limits!\n
  • PAM: (Sit bank on table) Our goal for today is that you leave here with a bank of resources.\n
  • PAM:Ask questions and then DROP IN TWO COINS. The first thing I would like to ask you before we begin is, “Do you have a bookmarking program?” If you do not, you are going to want one before this three hours is up. I use Delicious and currently have 348 sites in my Web 2.0 tag. The other two users listed here have 341 and 206 respectively. If you create a free Delicious account, you can add all three of us and walk away with almost 1,000 Web 2.0 sites. We will set you up right now if you would like. Secondly do you blog? Here are the links to our classroom blogs. I highly recommend that you look at each of them and save any links that you may want to use on your own blog to your Delicious account. You can create a free blog at Wordpress, and if you need help doing that, we can help you get started blogging. It is an invaluable Web 2.0 tool for teaching all six strands of the Technology Application TEKS. We will take a look at each of these blogs this morning.\n
