A. The rise of social media is something Ive embracedorganically over the years to get the word out aboutwhats great. At age 14 I started my firstbusiness, teaching small business owners how to createand maintain their web presence. Thus, online has alwaysbeen big in my world. Facebook is an incredible way toreach people when it comes to getting the word outabout whats popping, but if youre not cross-posting newcontent notifications across all platforms, youre missingout on good opportunities to reach potential readers andcustomers.Q. A. The phone is in my hand first thing in the AM -- I lovewaking up with my favorite artists and friends onInstagram. Ill respond and react to notifications fromvarious social platforms throughout the day and perhapspost something excellent Ive read or listened to onFacebook. Social is always open when Im at my desktopand I definitely get a last check in on my phone or tabletbefore bedtime.Q. A. Being an entrepreneur, there isnt much distinction. Idefinitely embrace the 24/7 startup lifestyle and, as Ivegotten older, have learned just how essential it is to takemore time for myself away from my work.
