      • It is possible to make PowerPoint more
      • accessible by building in interactive / ’action’ buttons.

      • Using the mouse and creating Mouse Overs
      • By using Mouse Overs or ‘Action’ buttons it is possible to add another dimension of interactivity and accessibility, for example hyperlinks, greater user involvement, (eg, via keyboard, mouse, switch, on-screen keyboards).

      • Keyboard accessible.
      • Using ‘Action’ buttons you can open and close a range of applications, for example, Internet Explorer, Word documents or other PowerPoint slides.

      • ‘ Action’ buttons also provide access to learners with more complex difficulties, e.g., ‘switch’ users (switch access input).
      • PowerPoint can be set up to work alongside 1,2,3 or more switches.
