• Father McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882. His primary mission was to provide for the spiritual and financial needs of Catholic families. From its humble beginnings, the order has grown worldwide with overFather Michael J. McGivney 15,000 councils. He lived toAugust 12, 1852 - August 14, 1890 the age of 38 years old.
Bishop Thomas Olmstead, AFourth Degree Knight, said“There’s no organization thatfights more for religiousfreedom, the right to life, formarriage, for all the keyissues which are beingcontradicted in society today,so they (Knights) representwhat all of us believe in”
Father Adrian founded the Knights of Columbus Council10540 at St. Anne’s and has been a priest for over 70 years
Knights float at the Gilbert Days parade. Members are involved inevents in the community and represent our Catholic values in society.
Knights attend adoration as a group and pray for our church, ourpriests, our families and those in need. Join us Thursdays at 5:30 pm.
Womens Auxillary for Council 10540. These women sharetheir talents for hospitality and support Knights events.
Knights families gather to pray the rosary andshare a potluck social every month.
