  1. 1.  Ventral cavity-this is made up of the anterior part of the body and is comprised of the thoracic and abdominopelvic areas.  Dorsal cavity-this spans from cranial cavity down to spinal cavity all the way to pelvic cavity
  2. 2.  Thoracic- this means chest, thoracic can include lungs and heart, ribs skin and muscles of the chest  Pleural- this is the area that surrounds the lungs
  3. 3.  Pelvic cavity-this is the area surrounded by the pelvic bones. It will include reproductive organs, urinary bladder and rectum  Abdominal cavity- this is your tummy! It is located between the thoracic and pelvic cavities. It holds your stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, intestines, spleen
