MISSION STATEMENTIt is the mission of the Firestone High School Information Technology Program to prepare our students to attain their highest degree of academic success with anemphasis on 21st Century Skills.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY• A four-year challenging, highly technical, hands-on program.• Emphasis is on the career concentrations of network systems, information support and services, programming and software development, and interactive media.• New and emerging developments in information technology basics, applications, and systems.• Develop enhanced technical skills, academic foundations, communication, leadership, teamwork, ethics, and legal responsibilities.• Communication skills, problem solving, research, and critical thinking are reinforced in this course.
