  2. 2. How to open the program <ul><li>Inicio > Microsoft Office > Microsoft PowerPoint. </li></ul><ul><li>The appearance of the window is… </li></ul>
  3. 4. Creating a presentation <ul><li>As you open the program, choose the “Crear una nueva presentación” option. </li></ul><ul><li>You will find this option in the “Panel de tareas de inicio”. </li></ul>
  4. 5. Saving a presentation <ul><li>Archivo > Guardar > Choose the destiny folder </li></ul><ul><li>Give a name to your archive </li></ul><ul><li>Pulse the “Guardar” button </li></ul><ul><li>Close the program to make the next exercise </li></ul>
  5. 6. Opening a presentation <ul><li>Open Microsoft PowerPoint </li></ul><ul><li>Archivo > Abrir > Choose the folder where your archive is kept and then open it. </li></ul>
  6. 7. Views <ul><li>Normal view , is how we see the screen at this moment. </li></ul><ul><li>Slide classification view , it shows all the slides so we can change their order if it is necessary. </li></ul><ul><li>Presentation view , it shows the slide at full screen. </li></ul>
  7. 8. Working with texts <ul><li>Once you have chosen the design and the background of your slide and saved your document, you can begin to write in. </li></ul>
  8. 10. Options of the Insertar menu <ul><li>A text box, that independent from the predesigned text. </li></ul><ul><li>Different types of images. </li></ul><ul><li>Data grids </li></ul><ul><li>Etc </li></ul>
  9. 11. Texts formats <ul><li>Formato fuente , to change the type and size of the font. </li></ul><ul><li>Alignment format , to place the text at the right or at the left of the slide. It allows too, to place it at the centre or to justified it. </li></ul><ul><li>Bullet points format . Use this option if you want to numerate your ideas. </li></ul>
  10. 13. Working with predisgned images <ul><li>Insertar > Imágenes prediseñadas </li></ul><ul><li>Look for images into the Office Gallery introducing a name in the Buscar box </li></ul><ul><li>Insert a flower in the science slide </li></ul>
  11. 15. Insert an image from the archive <ul><li>Insertar > Imagen > Desde Archivo </li></ul><ul><li>Choose one image from a folder. (For example, the folder Imágenes de muestra ) </li></ul>

  13. 18. Printing the slides <ul><li>Archivo > Imprimir </li></ul><ul><li>You can print the slides </li></ul><ul><li>You can print the notes </li></ul><ul><li>You can print a document with the slides grouped in a piece of paper </li></ul>
  14. 19. Animating the presentation <ul><li>One option is to choose a predefined animation that you can find in Presentacion > Efectos de animación. </li></ul><ul><li>You can do it one by one, or apply it to all the slides. </li></ul>
  15. 20. Animating the presentation <ul><li>Another option is “Personalizar la animación”. </li></ul><ul><li>You can define your own animation to each slide by choosing the effects and the order of the different levels of texts. </li></ul>
  16. 21. Animating the presentation <ul><li>You can choose the slide transition too. </li></ul><ul><li>You can insert different kind of sounds in the transition and even you can insert a song to the hole slideshow </li></ul>
