Comparing Fat and Fat Substitutes
Preheat the oven to 350 and spay
2 pans with cooking spray
1/3 c melted butter
or
1/3 c applesauce
¼ c cocoa
1 c sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c flour
2/3 tsp vanilla
Cooking spray

Made one pan...
¼ c cocoa

1/3 c melted butter

Butter Brownies version
Melted butter

2 eggs

Add melted butter to cocoa and
then add 2 lightly beaten eggs
1 c sugar

2/3 c flour

Add sugar and flour mix a bit
2/3 tsp vanilla

After adding all the
ingredients
Mix well
Pour into pan and spread out
see how thick the batter is
350 degree oven

Bake for 25 minnutes
Replace the butter with
1/3 Cup Applesauce
Repeat all the steps with the second
brownie mix
Finished products look similar apple
sauce brownies are a little darker and
smoother
The butter brownies are thicker and dense
chewy and a lighter brown
The applesauce brownies are lighter smoother
cake like...

My choice the butter brownies
thick chewy and yummy
