Also whoevervolunteered had to hand make the yearbookby cutting the paper into it’s right size so thehole puncher would fit onto all of the paper.Three students were picked to go down stairstoo cut the papers, photo copy, and go backup stairs to hole punch it. All of the yearbookwas hand made from the very front of thebook to the last page.
  • 3.  Three of us had to go down to the photocopying room and I was one of them. I wasthe one to cut every single one of the papersto make sure that they were the right size. Ifthey were not the right size we would haveto re due it. I also went around our schoolduring recess and lunch to take pictures ofthe students. I glued pictures onto the paperand photo copied it. I made collages for theyearbook. I also cut out all of the paper andmade sure all students were included.Putting the yearbook together was a hard jobbut worth it.

  • 5.  For the yearbook I used my own time to work onit. Even during lunch we would stay inside just tomake sure that it was done. Even though I had other courses to work on imade sure that the yearbook was still onschedule. No matter how stressful it was and no matterhow much I did not want to work on it I did itany ways because I knew that in the end Iwouldn’t regret it. Even if I did not get along with another student Iput that away and co-operated with them.
  • 6.  In the end everyone in the yearbook club gotto receive their very own FREE yearbook andalso the happy faces of all the students inthe school to receive their own yearbook forfree. Skil Mountain Community School gottheir very first yearbook in many many years.Students are happy to receive their very firstyearbook and get to keep it. Maybe even infuture years students will receive anotheryearbook. Or even elementary students willbe high school and be able to make it ontheir very own. In the end the yearbook wasworth all of the stress and hard work.
  • 7.  I was not sure what kind of skills I would gainfrom this club but I was certain that I wouldlearn something new and gain new friends. Inthe end of the club while we were almost tothe completion I was happy knowing that thestudents would get a yearbook to cherishforever. They could get their friends toautograph it for them and also they couldlook back at their pictures when they missedthem. In the end it was worth every secondof my free time.
