Is it always a challenge for you to unify data of different file types and from different sources?
This does not have to be like this!
You can quickly unify these different file types with InfoZoom and merge them via the same key.
It does not matter if the data originate from an Excel file, a text file like CSV or TXT, an Access file or an SQL database. Every file type can be imported and unified in InfoZoom.

  4. 4. Sample scenario 1 - Append • You would like to add new receipts to your current sales file. o o Sales file Sales file incl. new receipts Note: Both files should contain the same fields. A common key enables to identify created duplicates, which can be deleted after the merging operation, if needed. New receipts in CSV file New receipts were appended 4

Sample scenario 2 - Update • You would like to update your sales file with the current receipt report. o o Sales file Sales file incl. updated and new receipts Note: Both files should contain the same fields. A common key enables to identify created duplicates, which can be deleted after the merging operation, if needed. Current receipt report with updated receipt records Existing receipts were updated, new receipts were appended 5

Sample scenario 3 - Join • You would like to add the contact details of your customers to your current sales file. o Both files needs to have a common key, which joins the correspondent details of the additional file into the sales file via this key. Sample scenario 4 - Link • You would like to know, if all your customers have ordered anything this year and if your complete part range was considered in these customer orders. o The files to be linked need to have a common key, e.g. customer ID or part number. All matched records will be selected automatically. 7
