    • LivestockNet is a Swiss network of university, private sector, NGO and government stakeholders working in livestock and development Overall goalto strengthen the Swiss position in livestock and development within the global context andto improve planning and implementation of Swiss funded and supported livestock development initiative
    • Objectives of LivestockNet are to:enhance exchange of information between themembersdiscuss issues of common interestcatalyse work in thematic focus groupslink global and regional initiatives with livestock-related activities at the local level

Objectives of LivestockNet are to: enhance the interest and the position of Swiss actors and their initiatives in livestock and development become a sounding board and provide support for decision-making through advice, reference and links to other networks and institutions within and outside Switzerland play an advocacy role and provide advice on policies, strategies, regulations
