WP5- Community engagement strategies<br />Objectives<br /> To define successful community engagement strategies. <br />To complement the baseline information with data on forms of community engagement. <br />To identify frameworks for a systems perspective that are applicable at the community level that engage communities for development. <br />Define a generic template, with indicators, for community engagement.<br />To Identify policy and institutional interventions required to promote community engagement.<br />
  3. 3. WP5<br />Task 1. Desk study. <br /><ul><li> TNS will produce a paper on community engagement strategies.
  4. 4. TNS & WP6 will produce criteria for case study selection and the template and guidelines for data collection.
  5. 5. All partners provide their input and participate in producing the final documents.</li></ul> <br />
  6. 6. WP5<br />Task 2. Identify community engagement methods<br /><ul><li>All partners Collect cases, at least 5-10 in each participating country. TNS will coordinate all data collection.</li></ul> <br />Task 3, Synthesis of 1 and 2 to develop a template, with indicators, of what defines a (more) successful community engagement process<br /><ul><li>TNS will synthesis all data and produce a template for defining what a successful community engagement strategy is. </li></li></ul><li>WP5<br />Task 4. Evaluation of communities moving in the direction towards convergence. <br /><ul><li>TNS & WP6 Produce a prioritised list of those communities leading in the direction of convergence.

  8. 8. TNS will write the case studies.</li></li></ul><li>WP5<br />Task 5: Finalise Template for defining a successful community engagement process. <br /><ul><li>All partners consult communities and experts in their countries.
