  2. 2. interphase<br />Interphase is when the cell is preparing for mitosis. In this stage the cell doubles in size.<br />
  3. 3. Prophase<br />Prophase is when the cell DNA start to windup and form x shaped chromosomes. The nucleus starts to break and stretch.<br />
  4. 4. Prometaphase<br />The nucleus breaks and all the chromosomes spill out. The cell will now start to form the spindle fibres and move them around in the cell. <br />
  5. 5. metaphase<br />In this phase the cell’s spindle fibre extends itself and attaches to the chromosomes. The chromosomes form a line in the center of the cell. <br />
  6. 6. Anaphase<br />In this phase the cell starts to pull the chromosomes apart and split into two cells. The chromosomes split in half. One half of each chromosome go to different sides of the cell. <br />
  7. 7. Telophase<br />The spindle fibres start to rip the cell it too two pieces. The cell is almost done. The cell is now starting to moves its organelles. <br />
  8. 8. cytokinesis<br />The cell has finally split apart. The cell is still together sharing information and organelles. The spindle fibres are starting to split apart and fuse back into the cell. The nucleus starts to reform.<br />
