The French Revolution The Beginning The French Revolution had started in in 1789 and had lasted until 1799. The Revolution had started because of many things like the lower and middle class were unhappy with political and economic conditions. There was also the fact of financial problems due to war, and they were all interested in new ideas for the government.
In the Revolution
As I said before the Revolution was about the lower and middle classes revolting against the higher. The lower and middle class were tired of living with no food and living in poverty so they rebelled aagainst the higher class which was the french revolution. There was also the Reign of Terror where the french took all of the their enemies and would kill them. The kill count was anywhere from 16,000 to 40,000.
Louie XVI was the king of France. Louie had married Marie Antoinette. Louie XVI was in reign of France from 1774 – 1791. In this time Louie XVI had 33 charges against him all while he was the king of France. The trial for louie XVI was held on December 10 1792 and the very next day there was the decision that he would be executed. Louie XVI was executed by the guillotine on January 21, 1792.

The American Revolution
The American Revolution had started in the late half of the 18 th century when 13 of northern America’s colonies decided they wanted to break off of the British Empire. The American Revolution was a fight for everyone’s independence.
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party started out on December, 16 1773 when colonists in Massachusetts decided to dump 3 ships worth of taxed tea from a boat down into Boston Harbor. The colonists didn’t think it was fair because they thought it was violating their rights as people.
The Boston Tea party was very important to the American Revolution because they realized what the British Empire was doing wasn’t right so they decided to rebel against them and fight for their rights.
The results of the American Revoution is the 13 colonists had broken off of to form North America. The British Empire had also seen that their ways were wrong and that they needed to change and give them their freedom. That is when the Declaration of Independence was signed.
The American Revolution was colonists fighting for their right and freedom while the American Revolution was the lower and middle class fighting for their rights to eat and be the same as everyone else. In a way they are kind of the same.
