  • 3. Access ControlIntroduction The access to a users mailbox is via the following protocols: POP, IMAP & HTTP. Connect Xf simplifies the task of defining access control to a users mailbox over all the above protocols from different networks, thereby protecting valuable data from being misused.

  • 5. Defining the access control for the Sales team members using COS 1. Select the Entity View 5. Click on the Save button to commit the changes. 4. Select “nocheck” as the IMAP Access, POP Access and HTTP access settings. 2. Select the SalesCOSentity in the list of UserCOS 3. Go to the Directory tab
  • 6. Defining the access control for the Developer team members using COS – Step 1 5. Double click on the Property 1. Select the Entity View value field of IMAP client IP or IP Range. In the popup box, define the LAN IP range and click on Save button to commit the changes. 4. Select “check” as the value for the IMAP Access for the Developer COS2. Select the DeveloperCOS entity in the list of User COS 3. Go to the Directory tab
  • 7. Defining the access control for the Developer team members using COS – Step 2 1. Follow the process followed for defining the IMAP Access control for POP Access and HTTP Access2. Click on the Save button to commit the changes
