<ul><li>God asks us to be holy. This means resisting conformity to unwholesome aspects of our culture; deriving values from Biblical principles not peer pressure. </li></ul>
<ul><li>Your salvation is purchased with something infinitely precious (1 Pe. 1:18,19). That should motivate us to live a life worthy of that gift. </li></ul><ul><li>Set your hope fully on what will happen for you when Jesus returns (1 Pe 1:13)! Just as a ship captain uses two lighthouses or landmarks as a “range” to guide his ship, Christians use the first and the second coming of Christ to inform our values and to provide direction for our lives. </li></ul>
