    • Welcome to the Eine-Welt-Schule in Minden Germany
    • Our educational guidelines
      • Our school is a house to live in for all
      • Our motto is not only to teach the skills and knowledge but to strengthen the child‘s personality and character
      • An African proverb says: ‚It needs a whole village to raise a child‘, we need everyone to support us
      • We respect each child‘s individuality
      • We respect and promote the intercultural variety of our school
      • We try to strengthen democratic awareness
    • How we work
      • Pre- school activities:
      • Parents‘ evenings in kindergarten,
      • parents can come and see how we work, and get
      • advice in special cases
      • The first two years:
      • children aged 5 or 6 years are together in one class until they are 8 or 9 years old
      • pupils with special needs learn in separate little groups
    • How we work
      • How we support our pupils:
      • individual support by weekly plans for every child,
      • remedial courses in the morning and in the afternoon
      • support for children with special talents,
      • learning how to learn
    • How we work
      • Learning with new media resources
      • Comenius projects, working with our partner schools in Finland and Spain , exchange of mails between the pupils in English
      • English courses from the first class on
      • French courses in the 4th class
      • German courses for children from other nations, who cannot speak German so well
    • Our Comenius partners visited our school in October, 2008
    • Our time-table school assistants , rooms for smaller groups looking after the children 4.00 pm till 5.30 pm school assistants , classrooms, rooms for smaller groups looking after the children, lunch, exercises, study groups, clubs such as music, sports, arts, languages, experiments from 11.50 am till 4.00 pm teachers, classrooms lessons for the pupils in class 3 and 4 11.50 am till 1.20 pm school playgrounds 2nd break, games 11.35 am till 11.50 am teachers, classrooms lessons 10.05 am till 11.35am school playgrounds 1st break, games 9.50 am till 10.05 am teachers, classrooms breakfast 9.40 am till 9.50 am teachers, classrooms lessons 8.10 am till 9.40 am teachers, classrooms pupils come, time to speak with parents and pupils 8.00 am till 8.10 am teachers, school playground looking after the children 7.30 am till 8.00 am school assistants in school looking after the children 7.00 am till 8.00 am who? where? educational focus on time
