  1. 1.  Lithuania has unique nature unspoilt by endless industry, which makes rural tourism very popular among the Lithuanians.  The largest Lithuanian river is the Nemunas.  There are nearly 4.500 lakes and pound  The annual temperature is about +6,2 C.

  5. 5.  Trakai is important to the history of Lithuania as it was the second capital of Lithuania. The most prominent building is the Island Castle – in Gothic and German-style defensive castle.

Out of the three remaining town halls in Lithuania, Kaunas has the most luxurious one.  Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul is the biggest gothic-style chutch in Lithuania.
