    • Hank co-founded the Colvert/Harvey Group in 1994 after a successful career as General Sales Manager of an ABC affiliate in the mountain district. Through his hard work and diligence, Hank has developed a team practice that focuses on understanding the client's objectives, investment goals and personal life. He and his team then create an asset allocation model based on those objectives. Hank and his wife Peggy are proud parents of their two children (Renee and Brian). They enjoy travel, their philanthropic endeavors and an active outdoor lifestyle. Hank is also a sports car enthusiast.

    • After serving as estate planning and trust lawyer, Brad co-founded the Colvert/Harvey Group with Hank in 1994. Brad's educational background (Certified Investment Manager Analyst (CIMA®) from The Wharton School of Business, Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and Juris Doctor from The University of Kansas) has served the clients well as he takes the lead roll in research and management for the team's proprietary investment portfolios. Brad is married to Michele and is the proud father of two boys (Robert and Scott). Brad spends his spare time playing golf or hiking.

    • Financial Advisor
    • Brian joined the Colvert/Harvey Group in 2007 after excelling as an account executive for Ricoh Business Systems while attending college and after earning his degree from San Diego State University. Brian has added to the team by streamlining processes and growing new relationships while realigning the team's objectives. Brian and his wife Tiffany are very active in the local community and enjoy outdoor activities with their dog (Goose). Brian is a budding cyclist and enjoys the intense workouts at Carmichael Training Systems.

    • Registered Client Service Associate
    • Rob relocated from Texas to join The Colvert/Harvey Group in 2005. With over 9 years of industry experience, Rob provides a premier client service experience and he handles all administrative responsibilities. He deepens relationships with clients to help the team better understand their needs. Rob is a proud father of his daughter (Casey) and enjoys hiking and 4 wheeling in the mountains.

    • Building upon nearly a half century of combined experience, we meticulously craft and manage unique custom portfolios that seamlessly harmonize with the personal needs of our clients. 
    • Our investment management process is exclusive to the Colvert/Harvey Group and we take the greatest care and time to understand our client's investment objectives (cash flow requirements, time horizons and risk tolerances). We then actively manage portfolios to meet these personal goals.  As part of this process, we continually review research and information from third party providers as well as UBS sources.
    • Due to the inherent volatility in investments, we constantly analyze market conditions.  As a result, we strive to maintain portfolios that are very nimble in nature, allowing us to make changes when necessary. 
    • Our portfolios are constructed using two main components: strategic (long term) and tactical (short term).  The strategic component contains a relatively stable mix of traditional asset classes, while the tactical component utilizes a relative strength ranking method comprised of five major asset classes. 
    • This type of construction evaluates the supply and demand forces of particular asset classes and ranks the asset classes from strongest to weakest based upon relative strength.  We feel that asset classes can be ranked similarly to the way one might rank sports teams - how well the teams perform against their opponents.  The more games, matches or races won, the higher the ranking.  We believe the same method should be implemented in investment management.  An excellent way to implement this strategy is by using exchange traded funds (ETFs) and closed end funds (CEFs).   We utilize these funds in our portfolios when we can because of their tax efficient nature and low cost.

      • We first discuss your financial goals: You have worked very hard to accumulate your money and we can help you plan and manage how you would like to use it.
      • We need to see where you are today: No plans or roadmaps can begin without a starting place.

We will interview and select your key personnel and we call the plays during the game. Ultimately, we are responsible to you for your teams performance in achieving your goals.
      • We must review your plan often: This involves an objective comparison of your investment performance against your goals to determine whether we are on track to meet your goals. It is common to make changes to your portfolios or your contribution levels to maintain a high probability of success.
