  2. 2. What’s Up with UpLift?<br />Positive life change for at-risk youth.<br /> Colorado UpLift offers a comprehensive solution to the needs of inner-city young people. Dedicated full-time staff members work with students from fourth grade through young adulthood.<br /> <br /> <br />

In School<br />Teaching character, leadership and life skills for success.<br /> In select Denver Public Schools, elementary through middle-school students take the UpLift elective class once per week. High school students attend class five-days-per-week as an elective course. <br /> <br /> <br />

  8. 8. After School<br />Mentoring for life change.<br /> Staff members spend hours mentoring students outside of the classroom through after-school events and activities. <br /> <br /> <br />

  10. 10. Adventure<br />Growth through challenge.<br />UpLift students participate in year-round, outdoor activities that develop leadership, resiliency and teamwork.<br /> <br /> <br />

  12. 12. Post Secondary<br />Personal advancement through higher education.<br />Students are taught the value of college, instructed in the admissions process and given UpLift information to pursue their dreams.  <br /> <br />
