  • Alan Levine Alan Levine commented on Starting With Bad PowerPoint Fabulous slide set, and please try and connect some audio- a presentation is not just a presentation file! Another great Bad Powerpoint is Rowan Manahan’s Cinderella www.slideshare.net/RowanManahan/power-point-20th-anniversary-cinderella’ And remember- Powerpoint doesnt kill presentations; people do! www.flickr.com/photos/cogdog/2694267505/ 5 months ago

  • Alan Levine Alan Levine commented on The Last Powerpoint How terribly sad and a loss for the world. Three days after I posted the Last PowerPoint, Randy Pausch passed away... http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=&q=randy+pausch 2 years ago

  • Alan Levine Alan Levine commented on The Last Powerpoint Wow, do I feel dumb now. I thought Slideshare used to upload the notes from PowerPoint! I have all this great content in there, the flickr photo attributions, plus extra snark. Guess you will have to download the original to get the full show. Someone let Guy Kawasaki know ;-) Fully captioned version now on flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/cogdog/2695083166 2 years ago

  • Alan Levine Alan Levine commented on Sowing the seeds of enterprise2.0 in a global organization I love the comic style, a very refreshing mode for presentations. As a small suggestion, add some attribution for the flickr photos; I too recognize (and actually have used the same) the image in slide 7 form I believe one of the Northern Voice conferences. Yes, slideshare does not handle fancy fonts; I rely on the boring stable set. Also, small quibble- Gibson’s quote is "The future is here. It’s just not evenly distributed yet." - for a fascinating look into finding the origin of the quote, see http://www.brianstorms.com/archives/000461.html 3 years ago
  • Alan Levine Alan Levine commented on Whats On Your Horizon Some chance. I have an audio recording from one of the live sessions, but my voice is very hoarse on this circuit due to a cold. It will take some time and the trip has another week to go. 3 years ago
  • Alan Levine Alan Levine commented on Creative Web 2.0 Learning Hey fabulous slide set! I picked up on two nifty new tools, vodpod and juicecaster, that were new to me. 3 years ago
  • Alan Levine Alan Levine commented on NMC 2.0: The Content is You Very Cool! That makes a lot of difference. I would ditch the next/back navigation as a slide click; and make it done via the buttons, space bars and arrow keys. But you really also should consider autolinking any URLs that appear in the notes, e.g. http://slideshare.net/cogdog/nmc-20-the-content-is-you/1 4 years ago

  • Alan Levine Alan Levine commented on NMC 2.0: The Content is You It’s not nearly as good until slideshare adds ability to preserve hyperlinks! 4 years ago
  • Alan Levine Alan Levine commented on Talking About RSS Ew, it really did not like my nice fonts- made them all Times. Ewww 4 years ago
