VET Course - TAFE accredited Hospitality Kitchen Operations
TAFE Deliveredat CHHS Students will study:- Hospitality Industry Knowledge Dynamics of Teamwork Working with Customers & Colleagues Health, Safety and Security Procedures Workplace Hygiene Environmental Sustainable Work Practices Methods of Cookery Presentation of Food Appetisers Salads
Students cook every week. to be able to meet TAFE requirements Costs: Food Cost: $120 Payable to front office Hire of Tool Kit: $50 Available at School Uniform: $80 Available from Troys
Attendance rate must be above 80% Lessons delivered in one 3 ½ hour block per week (Wednesday) Students work towards a Certificate 11 in Hospitality Kitchen Operations which is nationally Accredited . Must complete 70 hours work placement. 35 hours in year 11 and 35 hours in year 12 Must wear full uniform at all times May be functions after hours or on weekends .
