4. What is the chart saying? Area 1: We are in the Developing Technologies stage. Technology is used in the classroom setting and our students have mastery of technology applications. However, our technology applications do not combine the TEKS of each subject area. Therefore, we use technology for non-instructional purposes, ie. attendance, email, etc.
5. Area 2: We are also at the Developing Technology stage with strengths in Professional Development for technology use and an emphasis for a collaborative need for more online and modeling professional development opportunities for our teachers.
6. Area 3: We have escalated to the Advanced level of Technology. We recognize that there is leadership support for online learning, online collaboration and communication amongst colleagues, as well as budgeting for technology advancement.
7. Area 4: In this area, we are also at the Advanced Technology stage. Our chart shows that we are extremely strong in the areas of Internet Access and connectivity speed, as well as a access to a large network area. However our biggest weakness of the entire chart states that teachers at Clear Brook, feel as though they do not attain enough technical support for their technologies.
