    Step 1 : Simply click on MORE

    Let’s Click here for starters

  • 4. Look at the menu choices
    Here you can create:
    A new Document
    A new presentation
    A new Spreadsheet
    A new form
    A new folder

  • 5. If you choose you can work outside of Google Docs: For example, Microsoft Word and you can UPLOAD your Word Document to Google Docs to edit and share!
    Click on Upload and it will look like this

  • 8. I am going to upload my cafeteria schedule because I know that it gets changed a lot. So now it is in a central place. I can share it with the staff easily and advise of any changes

  • 13. OK NOW, Let us organize our folders!!!
    Step 1: Right Click on My Folders
    Step 2: Scroll over “new”
    Step 3: Click on Folder

  • 14. Just type in a name for your Folder
    “I will type in Hempstead Documents”

  • 15. Here is my new folder
    Now I will drag some of my items to this folder and I can use the buttons on top to Share with colleagues and create subfolders to share with Specialized Departments and Grade Level Teams.

  • 16. Let’s Get Organized!
    Now just click and drag

  • 17. Notice how you can see that the Document is now located in Hempstead Document Folder

  • 18. Lastly I can click on Hempstead Folder and create sharing/editing rules for either the entire folder or individual permissions
    Notice the person icon that means folder is shared

  • 19. Notice that Hempstead Documents is highlighted and I can now execute many different permissions using the easy to understand tool bar
