    Joining Ning Teams & Uploading Flickr Photos - Presentation Transcript

    1. 1. Select the “Wikis Link”
    2. 2. Find what team your name is on. This will be your team for our CBTC simulation 3. Click on the Onlineconnections Ning link In order to join your team’s Ning group.
    3. 4. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to find your groups on the left hand side.
    4. 5. Here you will find your groups Ning site. Find your team’s name, click on the link, and “Join” that group.
    5. 6. The next step is getting ready to upload our pictures to Flickr using Flickr Uploadr. Find the Flickr Uploadr application on your computer and open it. It should look something like this when you have it open.
    6. 7. Choose the pictures that BEST represent life in Korea and could be use for the purposes of our class. 8. Make sure each picture has a title, a specific description, and proper tags. 9. Avoid uploading too large of photos. 800 x 657 is good.
    7. 10.You will see this message when you’re upload is complete. Choose to “Open Flickr’ to ensure everything is correct.
    8. 11. If you receive a screen with this message, then you’ve done a good job.
    9. 12. We have successfully uploaded the pics to our “KISWEBCLUB” site, but now we need to share them with our peers in America. Select a photo you feel might be useful for the purposes of our project and click on it.
    10. 13. Choose “Send to Group.”
    11. 13. Select “Online Connections.”
    12. 13. If you get this message, then you have properly shared your photo. Good Job! You can click on the “Online Connections” link to go to their photo pool and see your photo.
    13. 14. Here I am on the “Online Connections” Flickr page and here is the photo I shared with them. Repeat this process with other photo images that need to be shared.
