Have you ever thought of time management as being a hindrance to success? Well, this is one of the biggest
problems that people have. Students, entrepreneurs, moms, and dads of ten have issues when it comes to
how to manage time to get more done.
Most people will admit that they have trouble in this area but successf ul people will of ten talk about how they
are able to master it.
There are two major things I want to talk about in regards to how to manage time. These are things that you
can do to utilize your 24 hours to the max.
Get off time wasting sites.
We all stumble across juicy gossip sometimes or even things that have nothing to do with why we are on the
net in the f irst place. And even though social media is essential f or your business, you have to ref rain f rom
useless chatting if you want to get things done in a timely manner.
Some people spend their entire time on Facebook doing nothing that pertains to their business. If you are
making connections, that’s great. If not, then it’s time to go. Focusing on your income producing activities has a
lot to do with how to manage time ef f ectively. Facebook and Twitter can very well be apart of your IPA’s if you
are:
Building relationships
Engaging with your f ans
Providing inspiration
Marketing to your audience
There’s nothing like procrastinating.
When I f irst started internet marketing, I had a bad habit of
saying “I’ll do it tomorrow” at least once a day. It was so bad
that it started to become a habit. I’m not just talking about in
my business either. It was also in f ull ef f ect in my lif e as well.
I never thought it was important f or me to learn how to
manage time because the idea of working f rom home was
about working whenever I wanted and however I wanted. This is how we think sometimes especially when we
aren’t f ully f ocused on our goals. Then I wanted to kick myself f or not doing my tasks when I should have. It’s
always a good idea to get an accountability partner when you’re having these issues.
You ever notice how successf ul people have been able to produce an income and stay f ocused on the task at
hand? It’s because they know how to manage time and get it done! I f igure, if you are serious about being able
to manage your time, you will stop procrastinating.
