What do you remember about schools before the 21st Century?
Task:
Create a PowerPoint Slide Show to represent schools as you remember them.
Think about visual, auditory, kinesthetic representations if possible.
Group assignment
Select a representative to present it.
Time frame = 15 minutes
What should libraries look like today?
TASK:
In your newly assigned groups, take 2 sheets of chart paper and pens.
Make 2 sketched out drawings
Drawing 1: The school library as you remember it
Drawing 2: a 21st Century Library (think “Pie in the Sky”; money is no issue)
Upon completion talk as a small group to compare. After 15 minutes drawing time and a 10 minute break, we will discuss together
