From 5 to 8 June the International Student Congress of Medical Sciences (ISCOMS) takes place in the UMCG. During this annual conference, students present their research to a large and diverse audience of students, researchers, teachers and other interested parties. This year the organization once again succeeded in being able to present the following renowned speakers: Professor dr. Mario Capecchi PhD: in 2007 won he won the Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine Professor dr. Dick Swaab: an internationally neuroscientist who has won many awards and who has more than 410 international publications to his name Dr. Nicholas LaRusso MD: medical Director of the Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation More information on the website of the ISCOMS UMCG poster portal "ISCOMS, in cooperation with Faculty of 1000 and the Central Medical Library UMCG, invites all poster/oral presenters at ISCOMS to deposit their poster(s)/slides(s) into the established open access poster repository, F1000 Posters .
