    • SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is one of the hottest business areas, but most tools focus on determining the set of target words & phrases, and generating corresponding content. A key missing piece is assessing the results of SEO efforts, by deriving weighted keywords and phrases from the publicly crawlable website content.
      This "reverse engineering" of how search engines view a site is a classic example of web mining, and serves as a useful example to understand better the practical issues involved in real-world web mining.
      Depending on time, there might also be an example of "at scale" web mining, using results of the public terabyte dataset project.
