  1. 1. How to Promote Social Media Profiles with Video – No Production Required Video is all the rage these days. According to Brainshark, each day over 100 million Americans watch online videos, an increase of 43% since 2010. Plus, 46% of people say that seeing a product or service mentioned in an online video would encourage them to seek out more information. The challenge for many small- to medium-sized businesses when it comes to creating video is cost. It takes money to produce a video. And there’s time involved in determining what the content will be – storyboards, scripts, voiceovers, music, etc. Lately, more and more resources are popping up that aim to make it easy for companies to create videos. One that we uncovered recently is Vizify. Vizify bills itself as “a visual representation of you.” How? They take your social media content and create a website out of it. So how does this apply to companies and what does it have to do with video? Well, take a quick peek at ClearEdge’s Vizify page to see. The cool thing about Vizify is that it makes a video of your Twitter account – everything from photos you’ve tweeted to your top followers to what time you typically tweet to what you tweet about. All produced for you, in just minutes and set to music, to boot! I had so much fun playing with this tool that I also made one for myself, which you can find here. So if you’re looking for a place to start when it comes to video, and if you have a Twitter account, it will only take a few minutes to create your own Twitter video. Give it a shot! What other video resources are you aware of? Have you used any other online tools like this? We’re always on the lookout for new tips and resources so please share yours below.
