The Making Of A Leadership Mindset
Let me tell you a story…
I first met Ann when she asked for some marriage counseling
Can you relate to the Hamster Wheel?
Jeff Bezos, 1994, cross country drive, in his garage, rapid growth of internet sales because of no sales tax!
He make the connection!! Now his personal wealth is at 27 Billion!
Ann’s two problems had only one answer… WORK HARDER AND LONGER!
Ann was running so fast, she didn’t have time to delegate anything! I don’t have time to train anyone!
Her company kept growing… she must be doing something right!
Ann couldn’t grow anymore because she couldn’t see anymore! She was worn out. Her husband was worn out. Her one employee was worn out! They were just about to quit!
STOP! What are you hearing so far? Share with others! Do you know of anyone that can relate to Ann?
You see, Ann leadership expression is Care Giving! She also had some Manager in her to stay organized.
But she lacked skill as a Leader and Developer and therefore her company was handicapped.
After only two months, Ann has moved from a 4 to a 9 on FEELING IN CONTROL OF HER COMPANY!
From a 3 to an 8 on her hope for the future of her company!
The Phones are no longer a problem! She has disciplined boundaries and it has GIVEN HER CONTROL!!
Her husband is no longer working for her!
This is the natural life cycle of a successful business. Does it look familiar to the Making of a Leadership Mindset?
Emotion, Education and Experience are the constant barriers!
Disciplined Boundaries are what keep us out of Drama and Emotion at work.
Great Managers create systems that ensure repetition! Design your system of success, write it down and stick to it!
Disciplined Boundaries!
Your company can be good and financially successful without it! The price you’ll pay will be your people!
90% of what you have hear today will be lost unless you IMPLEMENT AND EVALUATE!
Remember that only 10% of the population has a LEARNING MINDSET. The other 90% must be forced to learn.
