        • TEACH PRONUNCIATION SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING
      • LISTENING DEMANDS:
        • LISTENER ENGAGEMENT
        • PRE TEACH / WARM UP
      • PRE-TEACH
        • LOOK AT PICTURES
        • DISCUSS THE TOPIC
        • READ THE QUESTIONS FIRST TO PREDICT WHAT IS COMING (TEXT)
        • SPIDERGRAMS, etc...
      • LET YOUR STUDENTS KNOW:
      • LISTENING IS A SKILL – YOU GET BETTER THE MORE YOU DO.
      • USUALLY, WE DO NOT CARE FOR LISTENING – DEVELOP SUCH A SKILL CAN EVEN HELP US BUILDING RELATIONSHIP !
      • Ss should respond to the content , not just the language!
      • Important  to draw out the meaning .
      • “ Do you agree?” Is a question as important as “What language did he use to(...)?”

      • FIRST LISTENING
      • ENGAGE - Before LISTENING Ss have been introduced to words‘ COFFEE, MILK, BREAKFAST...’
      • QUESTION-N-ANSWER DRILL “What do you have for breakfast?”
      • ENGAGE-STUDY-ENGAGE-ACTIVATE
      • MATCH THE CONVERSATION WITH THE PICTURES
      • FURTHER LISTENING: TICK THE WORDS...
      • ROLE PLAY...
      • ENGAGE-STUDY-ACTIVATE
    2. LISTENING
      • The activity becomes pleasant event rather than an exercise by itself.
      • ENGAGEMENT 
      • The ESL coach must STUDY to develop good listening activities:
      • Join a group to share ideas,
      • take courses, workshops...
      • listen to your students needs, and above all –
      • LISTEN TO YOUR HEART! 
