Gatineau, Que. and Pisa, Italy – April 1, 2009 – Mentum®, a global leader in RF software planning solutions

(BWA) field, today announced they are working together to provide a better way to develop and maintain
business cases for LTE and WiMAX deployments. Mentum is adding the WiTech TEA business case analysis
tool to its product portfolio as a complement to its network planning solutions. The accurate RF engineering data
within Mentum Planet® will provide realistic inputs for the TEA technical models. This will translate into credible
economic forecasts of 4G deployments.

TEA for LTE and WiMAX is a business support system application that addresses the marketing implications of a

detailed network dimensioning – an exercise that can be dramatically improved through the use of an accurate
RF planning solution – and provides the strategic planning group with the ability to run multiple scenarios and
compare them from a financial perspective.
