Ada Merritt K- 8 Center Page at a Time 2009

  1. 1. Save Our Friends! , 2009 Mixed media   Ever wonder what you can do to help out endangered animals?   Take a closer look at the flags or pages in this book—they illustrate actions needed to aid and protect creatures from extinction. When the book is opened, the flags align alternately by rows. Each student researched the threats facing an endangered animal and formulated a solution, along with a drawing.   These pages will inspire you to find out the positive impact that human behaviors, actions, and attitudes can have on saving animals in peril.   Ada Merritt K-8 Center Fourth grade Art teacher: Dervis Tena, Lourdes Fuller Classroom teacher: Laura Cabrera Principal: Carmen Garcia Artists and authors: Elizabeth Alfred, Yazmin Barreto, Joshua Borba, Matthew De-Sousa, Julia Guerra, Keana Kosilova, Sophia Martinez, Rabboni Mason, Allan Mosqueda, Megan Mosquera, Leticia Nascimento-Ben, Isabella Nordlund, Jared Palacios, Valentine Quillien, Lauren Rivera, Julia Rodrigues, Zusel Romero, Paola Sampedro, Claudio Tamae, and Nathalie Thompson
