Studentparticipation consists of many activities, some of which include:1. Class discussion including questions or comments2. Visiting the instructor following class, using email, or scheduled appointments to clarify and convey ideas3. Engaging in electronic learning via the internet relative to each of the following disorder areas a. Articulation b. Voice and Resonance c. Fluency d. Swallowing/Dysphagia e. Language f. Cognition g. Social aspects h. Communication modalities I. Hearing/Aural Rehabilitation j. Accent Modification4. Demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm for learning through creative thought and ideas about the subject/topicsEach student will briefly record the activity or level of participation (25 words or less perentry/double spaced between dates of entry) using the prescribed electronic format,keeping the journal entries in sections according to their type. For example, all #1 typeentries must be kept together, #2 etc, then #3, etc…….The student will maintain the information and be prepared to present it to the instructorfor review and assignment of cumulative points.
