6. 6. Plasma Protein Appears to Be Associated With Development and Severity of Alzheimer's DiseaseScienceDaily (July 12, 2010)
7. 7. Plasma Protein Appears to Be Associated With Development and Severity of Alzheimer's DiseaseScienceDaily (July 12, 2010)
Protein clusterin, appeared to be associated with atrophy of the hippocampal region of the brain and with rapid progression of cognitive decline
8. 8. Plasma Protein Appears to Be Associated With Development and Severity of Alzheimer's DiseaseScienceDaily (July 12, 2010)
9. 9. Plasma Protein Appears to Be Associated With Development and Severity of Alzheimer's DiseaseScienceDaily (July 12, 2010)
Able to stop the progression of Alzheimer's disease is a major step in the treatment of this disease and for this we must know the molecular mechanisms by which this takes place, so I think that this study opens the door to many others that will improve the quality life of patients.
10. 10. Heat Shock Protein Can Restore Nerve Damage in Diabetic MiceScienceDaily (Aug. 12, 2010)
11. 11. Heat Shock Protein Can Restore Nerve Damage in Diabetic MiceScienceDaily (Aug. 12, 2010)
The up regulation of Hsp70 by inhibiting the activity of Hsp70's regulatory protein, Hsp90, has led to the reversal of neuronal degeneration in mice with DPN.
12. 12. Heat Shock Protein Can Restore Nerve Damage in Diabetic MiceScienceDaily (Aug. 12, 2010)
Hsp90, a key regulator of Hsp70 and the cellular heat shock response, had its activity inhibited by a novel C-terminal inhibitor, KU-32
13. 13. Hsp70 provides pain relief by its ability to block the JNK protein kinase activity.
Heat Shock Protein Can Restore Nerve Damage in Diabetic MiceScienceDaily (Aug. 12, 2010)
14. 14. Heat Shock Protein Can Restore Nerve Damage in Diabetic MiceScienceDaily (Aug. 12, 2010)
I think this study is of great importance as it will create new medicines that improve health and reduce the consequence of diabetic patients and gives patients a better quality of life during their disease process
15. 15. MEDICAL UTILITY
16. 16. MEDICAL UTILITY
17. 17. MEDICAL UTILITY
Chaperones are essential for the proper functioning of the proteins in the organism, so the studies focus on this area allow doctors to understand the mechanisms by which they can produce different pathologies and allows them to focus on the treatment of patients with a more effectively.
18. 18. The identification of this protein allows to know the mechanism by which the disease progresses and this gives researchers a guide that can be used to create drugs that act on molecular targets identified as decreasing the progression of symptoms.
MEDICAL UTILITY
