Design Technology Process Journal - Mar. 25th, 2011 - Friday - Measuring and Marking out Today’s lesson was quite easy, we measured and marked out our footstools. We had a practice of it when we are making the doorstop, therefore it was a easylesson for me. Today I used some tools. I used pencil, ruler and a tri-square to mark outmy footstool. Also I used tenon saw and a pull saw to cut my footstool. And aclamp to tight the piece of wood. I first worked with my partners, because there are at least 2 people areusing one piece of wood, and then we will cut it apart after we mark and measureit. My partner and I worked quite well, we finished all the things we need to do ingroups really fast. And then I used the tenon saw to start to cut my arrow shape. Ididn’t finish it, because there wasn’t enough time for me. I will be continuecutting the arrow shape for the next lesson. Today’s lesson related to environment, because we are using wood which isrelated to the environment, the wood are from trees.
