  • First step, video step will be Peer to peer video between two Video Conferencing Devices. Camera is a dedicated camera, and processing time is ran by the device itself, no need for a PC Control of the session is done using an IR remote controller, and menu are displayed on the video screen. Video displays can be any LCD Screen or HDMI display and are not provided by ALU. Video phone is planned to be released later with the launch of the new My IC phone (Step2) LifeSize delivers all HD – no tradeoffs – and no hidden costs. All LifeSize system deliver High Definition video and audio, as well as standards based data sharing. They are ALU branded Integrated multipoint capabilities on the Video Conference 240 in video conferencing mode, enable multiple parties to easily communicate and collaborate on-demand.

LifeSize delivers all HD – no tradeoffs – and no hidden costs Lifesize solutions provide the best video quality whatever the bandwidth, it adapts automatically according to the bandwidth available thanks to differentiating features like ‘Adaptive motion control’ or ‘motion versus resolution settings which drives how the system acts on bandwidth drop …. - 768 Kbs min required for 720p30 quality, covering audio, video + data sharing - 1.1 Mbs min required for 720p60 quality, covering audio, video + data sharing - 1.7 Mbs min required for 1080p30 quality, covering audio, video + data sharing With Video Conference 110 you get true HD Video quality (1280x720-30fps) for natural, realistic interactions at only 1Mbs over an Internet connection at a price point that enables broad deployment (microphone integrated in the focused camera) Video Conference 210, the most sold solution for SMB in US, is an enhanced Full HD video communications system (1920x1080– 30fps /1280x720-60fps), supporting dual high definition displays (Camera with 4x zoom capability with separate microphone) Video Conference 240 brings Full HD (1920x1080– 30fps /1280x720-60fps), and superior multipoint conferencing, the next step in workgroup video communications. Two different operating modes are supported: - ‘Active speaker’ mode: the person who speaks is automatically shown, switched on the display full screen - ‘Continous Presence’ mode: the screen is shared in four parts, displaying simultaneously all four participants Data sharing (ppt presentation, desktop sharing …) is possible with all solutions: On Passport, thanks to the virtual link (free SW to be downloaded on your PC). Using the remote controller you can switch from the Video to the Data sharing and the reverse On Express/Team, one direct physical connection is possible from your PC to the unit (LAN). Virtual link will also be available soon as it is seen as flexible in case of having several PCs involved in the meeting ! One display can be dedicated to Video, the other to Data sharing Administration is performed thanks to the (remote controller + display) or Web based (PC) Call setup is H323 based by default with automatic fall back to SIP protocol
