  • 19. InmagicInmagic is an interesting company that once had a focuson the special library. But with a recent infusion of cashinvestments has been able to branch out in anotherdirection. The company now focuses primarily on aknowledge-driven system in the form of their newest ILS – Presto. They still support Genie, but now market it as partof a Library Suite. Presto represents a new direction beingtaken in terms of managing knowledge and supportknowledge networks through the use of social networkingconcepts and tools. With customers such as NASA usingtheir products, Inmagic is a top-notch company. And, itmay be unfair to have them in this category.
