  • 1. e pl m sa g in it wr ki s ow zk ac lK ta ys Cr Employees missing work again? Reduce absenteeism and presenteeism with vaccinations Many Canadians are not adequately covered for preventable infections. In fact, less than one-half of high-risk Canadians receive the influenza vaccine yearly; 3 to 4 work days may be lost due to influenza in healthy adults. Providing coverage for vaccinations for illnesses such as influenza, pneumonia, tetanus, rotavirus and hepatitis A and B may reduce workplace absences. The Canadian Immunization Guide recommends all adults be immunized against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella and varicella. Helping your employees avoid preventable diseases demonstrates your commitment to their health for the mature as well as the younger worker. Promote good health! Offer employees and their families vaccination coverage.
