    • In 1999Macau Baptist College commenced toconnect to the internet and alsoembedded the application of internetin our high forms computer studiescurriculum. Besides, we also organizedmany times of teacher training for ourteachers in order to facilitate theirteaching.
    • In 2002Macau Baptist College moved to a newcampus located at our north district ofMacau. We established our first school-wide intranet infrastructure. Ourstudents and teaching staff can connectto each other and internet in everyclassroom and every office terminal.
    • In 2007Macau Baptist College was selected by the DSEJto be the first group of schools to initate thethree-year-IT plan. In this three-year-plan, weimproved our infrastructure and built up ourwireless network in a specific area of the school.Besides, we also implemented our first intranetenvironment. Our students, parents and teachingstaff were connected to this environment interms of teaching, learning and communicating ,etc.
    • In 2008Macau Baptist College started to implement thesmart board in our lower level classes of ourprimary section. Until 2011, the smart boardswere implemented in each class of our primarysection. The smart board enlarged theinteraction between students and teacher.However it also bring a lot of challenges to ourteachers in preparing the lesson plan. Thus, weheld a lot of professional trainings and activitiesin order to encourage our teachers to adapt tothis culture.
    • In 2011Macau Baptist College tried to use thetablets to do the e-learning and taughtour students to write simple apps forthe tablets. Besides, we also developeda school-base student conductapplication to help our class monitorsto perform their duty.
    • Vision of IT Development :• Make IT connect to each part of ourdaily life• Build up IT culture• Establish an e-learning community tofacilitate our learning and teaching• IT becomes a basic ability of everyteacher• IT becomes a study tool as important asCHINESE, ENGLISH and Mathematics.
    • Challenges of IT Development :• Reluctant to change of someteachers• Limited resources• Parents ‘social and economicalstatus• Conflict of the text book publisher• Environment problem
