    • Or choose a new one from http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/
      • Thousands of themes available
      • Almost any of them can be converted to work on map-blogs – just takes a little work from map-blogs – please ask!
  • 5. Configure the wordpress blog
    • This is “normal” wordpress setup – very easy to do

      • A Google map key ( http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html )
  • 6. Create Your Maps

    • Or use Google My Maps
  • 7. Blog your Maps
    • Within your my map-blogs.com blog, create a new post.
    • As well as the normal wordpress blog text and options, there’s a panel to link in your map.
  • 8. Tweaking your maps…
    • There are some advanced panels too… e.g. to change map line colours:
      • Choose “Lines”
      • Edit the “Colour” – currently requires a little hex
      • Choose “Refresh Map”
  • 9. That’s it!
    • Hit
    • That’s it - you’ve shared your map 
  • 10. Terms & Conditions
    • Nothing formal at present
    • At some point some advertising may be added – we’ll need to pay for the server and bandwidth!
    • map-blogs is not a platform for e.g. porn – we reserve the right to cancel any blog we consider inappropriate for map-blogs.
    • Any advertising we add we will similarly look for it to be appropriate.
