  • What is a blog?
    • According to WordNet Search 3.0, a blog is a shared on-line journal where people can post diary entries about their personal experiences and hobbies.
    • “ Blog” is a short version of “Web-Log.”
  • Blog Terminology
    • Blog-An online dated diary listing your periodic thoughts on a specific topic, often in reverse chronological order.
    • Blogger-A person who blogs.
    • Blogosphere-The Internet blogging community.
  • Blog Components & Functions
    • Header -The topmost part of the blog usually listing the blog title.
    • Footer -The most bottom part of the blog usually listing copyright info.
    • Sidebar -One or more columns along one or both sides of most blogs.
    • Post/Entry -Individual articles that make up a blog.
  • A Blog How-To
    • Point your browser to
    • If you have a Google account:
      • Sign in using username and password
    • If you do not have a Google account:
      • Click Create A Blog
      • Create an account
  • Blog Ideas
    • Some of the best-written blogs on the Internet have the most interesting topics, including:
